April 6, 2015 //  by Ron Woods

After closing out 2014 with country music’s top-selling album, the Platinum-certified and genre-busting The Outsiders, Eric Church storms in to 2015 with four Grammy nominations: Best Country Album for The Outsiders, Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “Give Me Back My Hometown,” and Best Country Group/Duo Performance for “Raise ‘Em Up” with Keith Urban.

Place your bid NOW on CharityBuzz.com to see Eric Church perform LIVE with special guest the Drive-By-Truckers at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC on March 10th. After the show, you and a friend will head backstage to meet Eric Church and, in addition, you’ll receive a Fender acoustic guitar signed by Eric himself!

Many of you may have recently heard the news story of how Eric’s bandmates came down with a bad case of the stomach flu on the day of a big show in Utah. Eric didn’t cancel the show like many would have expected – instead, he played an intimate, solo, acoustic set for the eager crowd. He then shocked everyone when he gave the entire audience tickets to a future concert with the band present.

It’s obvious how much Eric Church cares about his music and his fans. What may not gain as much attention is his compassion towards those in our society who need it most. Eric generously donated the tickets, passes, and guitar to Madison House Autism Foundation whose programming addresses housing, employment, medical, and advocacy issues that directly impact adults on the autism spectrum. Please join us (and Eric) in building a better future for adults with autism by having a night you’ll never forget.
