After a nine-year hiatus, the Ed Trevisan Memorial Tournament reunited at Bretton Woods Country Club to raise funds in benefit of housing for adults with disabilities at Madison Fields. Special needs adults have the same hopes and dream as us all – making friends, obtaining a meaningful job, and securing a decent place to live. With 1 million individuals with autism and other intellectual/developmental disabilities living with a family caregiver over the age of 60, the goal at Madison Fields is to create a supportive housing model that can be replicated across the country to help these individuals and their families.

This year’s tournament is being praised as the most successful yet. In partnership with Madison House Autism Foundation and with more than 150 members of the golf community, the event brought in $45,000 for disability housing at Madison Fields. Not only that, but from the door prizes, to the gourmet food, to the game play with close friends, this year’s “Eddie T” created memories that will last a lifetime.

Going forward, the tournament will honor two dear friends of Keith Mayo, the Tournament Director. It will be renamed The Ed Trevisan/Dick Vilardo Memorial Tournament. The date for this outing has already been set for September 19, 2016 and will be a great opportunity for your company to receive exposure to potential business partners, help support vulnerable members of our community, and have a fun day on the links with friends and colleagues. Registrations and sponsorships will sell out quickly, so be sure to sign up early by emailing Lisa Holland at lholland@madisonhouseautism.org.

Watch the video below to see highlights from the 2015 Ed Trevisan Memorial Tournament, a fun-filled event for a great cause. We will see you next year!

Thank you to the 2015 Ed Trevisan Memorial Tournament sponsors!
