Hope Garden Ballet Academy and Hope Garden Children’s Ballet Academy Theatre in Poolesville, MD took to the stage on August 19th in support of Madison Fields, a project of Madison House Autism Foundation. The benefit show, entitled Dance Equus, was a mixed bill of contemporary dance and classical solos featuring choreography by Tony Wilson (The Hippocrene Mist) and Alan Obuzor (Groovin’ and Movin’).

Hope Garden Ballet Academy’s mission is to develop dancers of the highest technical skill as well as of high moral character, and Dance Equus was a beautiful example of how this generous organization instills these values in not only its students, but in the broader community as well.

Thank you to all of the dancers and to Academy Director, Fran Ichijo, for our partnership and for arranging such a stunning show.

Below you will find highlights from the magical and inspiring program Dance Equus.
