FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JaLynn Prince, Founder of Madison House Autism Foundation, Named One of Maryland’s Top 100 Women for the Third Time
Her recent awards elevate her into Maryland’s Circle of Excellence

Rockville, MD — May 7, 2025) On May 5, JaLynn Prince, founder and president of Madison House Autism Foundation (MHAF), was formally recognized at a special ceremony as one of Maryland’s 2025 Top 100 Women, an award presented by The Daily Record, celebrating women in Maryland who exemplify outstanding professional achievement, community leadership, and mentorship. This recent designation elevates Prince into the Circle of Excellence, which recognizes a talented and influential group of women who have been chosen and honored three times by The Daily Record (Top 100 Women) during a six-year period.
Prince’s selection acknowledges not only her tireless advocacy for adults with autism but also her richly diverse career. While raising her now 36-year-old son Madison, who is on the autism spectrum, Prince has become a trailblazer in advancing the needs of autistic adults—a population exceeding 5.5 million individuals in the U.S. Through MHAF, she has worked nationally to promote sustainable solutions for housing, employment, and inclusive community engagement. Yet Prince’s impact extends far beyond autism advocacy. Before founding MHAF, she built an impressive professional portfolio, including broadcasting, management consulting, public relations, community development, arts administration, and serving as a press secretary on Capitol Hill. She is also an accomplished global photographer and photojournalist whose work has documented critical humanitarian challenges—healthcare disparities, education gaps, poverty, and disaster recovery—across almost every continent. Her photography continues to elevate the stories of underserved populations worldwide.
“JaLynn Prince embodies the essence of visionary leadership. Her professional excellence, philanthropic passion, and relentless commitment to marginalized populations—both locally and globally—make her an extraordinary role model and a natural choice for this prestigious recognition,” said Robert R. King, former U.S. Ambassador.
In response to the honor, Prince shared:
“I am deeply grateful for this recognition, which reflects not just my journey but the broader fight for dignity, opportunity, and belonging for adults on the autism spectrum. No matter the challenges we encounter, we must remain steadfast in building a world where autistic adults feel a profound sense of belonging—in the communities where they live, work, and contribute—and where they have access to the resources that allow them to enjoy a full and enriching quality of life with ease and grace.”
Prince continues to inspire others through her thought leadership, speaking engagements, and mentoring of young advocates and professionals across multiple sectors.
