Madison House Autism Foundation would like to thank the American Airlines Sales Team for their day of service at Madison Fields. According to the American Airlines website, the airline fosters a unique corporate culture of service, where every employee is encouraged, supported and recognized for the active role they play in making their community a great place to live and work.
Here are two of their amazing programs:
1. Do Crew is American’s group of employee and retiree volunteers. Their service to the community is the cornerstone of the airline’s community programs. Volunteers participate in community-based projects benefiting a variety of nonprofit organizations.
2. American supports employees volunteering in the community. Employees who complete 50 hours of volunteer time with nonprofit organizations are supported with in-kind travel to the benefiting nonprofit organization. The organization can use the in-kind support to offset travel expenses or as a fundraising tool.
It is so encouraging that businesses, like American Airlines, are stepping forward to become champions for adults with autism and their families. Browse the photos below for a glimpse of American Airlines’ day of service at Madison Fields.
