Autism After 21 Virtual Breakfast

March 14, 2025 //  by Madison House Autism Foundation

This year, we are excited to welcome you to the Autism After 21 “Virtual Breakfast,” an event featuring captivating speakers, our annual art exhibition, and live performances—all accessible from the comfort of your own home.

This enlightening gathering is dedicated to exploring the distinct challenges and prospects that adults with autism encounter, providing you, as influential community members, with a deeper understanding of the experiences of people with autism in your community.

The theme for the event is “BELONGING,” highlighting the importance of connection and the power of being part of a community that shares common goals and values. By coming together, we have the chance to create meaningful change and foster understanding, acceptance, and collaboration, paving the way for a brighter and more inclusive environment for autistic adults.

Aparna is a second-year student at the University of Virginia (UVA), majoring in Biochemistry on the pre-med track. She has an immense passion for music and service and always seeks ways to integrate the two. One way she embraces the healing power of music is through teaching music to autistic adults. Aparna’s ambition is to become a physician, but music will always hold a special place in her heart for she knows that music can heal wounds in ways that medicine alone cannot.
