VisAbility Art Lab: CALL FOR ARTISTS IN THE DC AREA

February 3, 2016 //  by Shannon Doty

VisAbility Art Lab is an entrepreneurial program for adults on the autism spectrum that is held in an artist studio at VisArts in Rockville, Maryland. The studio program provides an arts-oriented career path for participating artists, professional quality art making and resources, community involvement, and life skills advancement. Professional arts facilitators do not instruct artists, but provide guidance, support, and direction. VisArts’ gallery exhibition space provides opportunities for solo and group exhibitions.

VisAbility Art Lab

HOURS: Monday– Thursday from 9:30 AM – 2 PM

There is a fee for participation; reduced fee scholarships are available.

For more information and to schedule an interview, contact Mary Liniger at MLiniger@MadisonHouseAutism.org
