We Need Your Voice
Nearly 2% of the population receive an autism diagnosis.
After age 21, adults with autism lose access to public supports and resources that afford them opportunities to thrive.
Adults with autism are under-represented in the workplace, alienated from community life, and often overlooked when considerations are made concerning accessibility to housing, healthcare, and education.
As we continue to work together towards inclusion and representation in our communities, our places of work, and in positions of influence, let us also remember the importance and gifts of neurodiversity.
Join the movement. Sign the pledge. Let’s create a world that embraces #AutismAfter21
Take the pledge below to help us demonstrate that there is a growing chorus of voices urging communities, policy makers, and employers to include and support adults with autism:
I support the recognition and inclusion of adults with autism and their families in the life of my community. My commitment to the well-being of these members of my community has a direct and positive impact on the general health of the whole community. I know my community will thrive as it develops greater understanding concerning autistic adults and the value of their participation and contributions.
